Streak 10 Tablets Pro from Dell to Debut in China

Dell as the PC manufacturer will launch its new product. Dell has announced that its upcoming Streak 10 Pro tablet will be launched first in China this summer. Dell’s Vice President for mobile devices John Thode points to several “inhibitors and barriers to success” as its reasons why the tablet device would not debut in the United States where the company is based. These so-called inhibitors include mobile carriers dictating pricing models, which Thode says stifle the adoption of tablets.

The Dell Streak 10 Pro features a 10-inch screen with 1,280 x 800 resolution, an edge-to-edge glass surface, Android Honeycomb, NVIDIA Tegra dual-core processor, two cameras, a SD card slot, and 1080p video playback capability. A separate dock would allow the tablet to serve as a USB host, while its connectivity functions would expand to HDMI and Ethernet apart from USB.
But don’t fret, America. The Streak 10 Pro will arrive in The Land of the Free by 2012, by that time with a newer version of Android.Let's wait presence.

Chromium Xi3 Advanced ModularComputers PC

Computers are always grown from epidemic to the year. Well, you might want to take into consideration the Xi3 ChromiumPC, which is touted to be the first desktop computer in the world that is powered by Google’s Chrome operating system.

The PC chassis itself looks very different from what we’re used to seeing, and although it is still squarish in nature, the fact that it comes with a chrome finish makes it one of the more bling versions in the market. Relying on the patented Xi3 Computer Architecture, the ChromiumPC computer boasts of a tiny form factor, and comprises of a low-power (20Watts) dual-core modular computer which is highly adaptable in any environment to have it run other operating systems if you so desire, or to perform specialized functions.

According to Jason A. Sullivan, president and CEO of Xi3 Corp., “The Xi3 Computer Architecture is designed to support any x86-based operating system, including Windows, Linux, Unix, and other open source-based operating systems. Although we’ve been promoting, discussing and working on modular computers for some time, we feel the market is now ready for a desktop computer with a cloud-based operating system like the one offered by Google. If someone chooses to switch their ChromiumPC to run a different operating system, it’s as easy as swapping out one of the three boards inside the computer.”

Individual Xi3 Modular Computers like the ChromiumPC will boast of an aluminum chassis which holds a trio of small but interconnected boards (or modules), where they are the Processor Module, the Primary I/O Module and the Secondary I/O Module.

It will veer away from traditional computers since the Xi3 Computer Architecture makes it a possibility for the Xi3 Modular Computer to change its “personality”, where all it takes it a replacement of the I/O Module. Currently, the ChromiumPC will run on a dual- or single-core 64-bit, x86-based processor, where it is housed in a chassis that measures 4.0- x 3.656- x 3.656-inches, and you even have multiple colors to choose from. You interested? Try to operationalizing it.

The GIGABYTE X58A-OC

OC-VRM
Gigabyte launches new product that is GIGABYTE X58A-OC. The GIGABYTE X58A-OC features a new VRM design called OC-VRM, which includes a combination of highly conductive POScaps, 50A rated MPFC (Max Power Ferrite Core) Chokes, and Driver-MOSFETs, which combined, are able to deliver higher current to the CPU, with better efficiency and lower temperature. OC-VRM also allows users to overclock the PWM frequency via an onboard switch, for real-time adjustment. When the CPU needs maximum power, users can raise the PWM frequency in order to deliver more current through this unique POScap and MPFC Choke design. In addition, GIGABYTE has specially chosen unobtrusive components and carefully designed their layout to make it easier and quicker than ever for extreme overclockers to insulate their boards. This is very useful.

OC-Touch
OC-Touch enables overclockers to quickly and easily get the best performance from their system. With onboard OC-Touch buttons, users are able to manually raise and lower the CPU ratio, change BCLK settings, and even change BCLK stepping to either 1MHz or 0.3MHz. These changes can be made at any time whether in the BIOS, DOS, or Windows and in real-time without the need for rebooting, so that users can quickly fine-tune to find their CPU’s maximum frequency. The onboard 4G Ready button allows novice overclockers to automatically reach 4GHz, while advanced users can use it to get to 4GHz before continuing with OC-Touch to quickly find their CPU’s best margin. Onboard voltage measurement modules are also included to help users to conveniently monitor component voltages.

OC-Cool
OC-Cool features a new LED lit thermal design and 7x 4-pin Smart Fan connectors to allow overclockers to easily control system-wide temperature. The OC-Cool heatpipe maximizes system convection to expel hot air out through the IO panel and optimizes passive cooling. OC-Cool LED lighting on the North and South Bridges further adds to the X58A-OC’s coolness.

OC-Dual BIOS
OC-DualBIOS™ features an onboard BIOS switcher and LED indicator, allowing users to select one BIOS for normal use, and another one for overclocking. It can also act as a backup BIOS in case of BIOS failure during overclocking. With two BIOSes, users are able to save up to 16 different overclocking profiles – a very useful feature when overclockers want to update to a new BIOS, but don’t want to lose their original settings. These advantages offered GIGABYTE X58A-OC.
